This presentation aims to look at ways of expanding your or creating an audience online. I will take a look at the new music communities of interest that have arisen due to new ITC's focusing on podcasting, music blogging, myspace and internet radio and how participants can make the most of them to get there music across to a bigger audience.

Biography: 

Magz Hall is a DJ, sound artist, radio lecturer, producer and presenter who helped set up Resonance 104.4 FM. She produces and presents a weekly live music show You Are Hear www.youarehear.co.uk the show has live sessions every week which are also podcast. She is conducting practice based PhD research on "Radio of the Future" looking at the effects of convergence on radio arts practice. She is also chair of the South London Radio Arts, who are holding free week long radio art workshops for the unemployed in April. Magz has taught radio at LCC, Thames Valley University, Sunderland University, Lewisham College and given talks at Central Saint Martins, LSE and the University of Sienna.
