Something is the result of the combined goals and ideas of a socially and culturally diverse group. Formed from graduates of the MA Interactive Digital Media course at Ravenbourne College their desire to continue working and developing interactive projects and concepts lead them to a warehouse space in central London that they call home. Home is also a work and exhibition space and the result of many hours labour in building, plumbing and wiring. The focus of Something’s art work revolves around interactive sonic installations and performance with several projects having been shown in exhibitions and festivals from Ars Electronica to Cybersonica. Currently Something are transferring their methodology from purely arts based works to develop interesting and challenging commercial concepts and projects.

Something is the result of the combined goals and ideas of a socially and culturally diverse group. Formed from graduates of the MA Interactive Digital Media course at Ravenbourne College their desire to continue working and developing interactive projects and concepts lead them to a warehouse space in central London that they call home.

Biography: 

Markus: knowledge and experience in various electronic digital and non-digital media, he draws from an unusually diverse and rich portfolio of technical skills and professional experiences.

Dave: not dead yet, lives online.

Jon: has designed software and conducted workshops for young learners to express themselves artistically and develop their communication skills through collaborative authorship.

Steve: has a background in 2d, 3d and digital arts and design. Focusing on developing social art and design projects, investigating the relationship and interaction of users not only with the projects, but also their reaction and interaction with each other.

Yasser: a creative technologist with extensive experience delivering solutions for clients ranging from global broadcast media companies to local community initiatives.
