Media Art is a genre that encompasses artworks characterised through
both technological inventions and artistic content. However, certain
stages of technological developments seem to give rise to similar
ideas at similar times. As concern with the medium is a key feature of
many of the works, one has to pose the question: What makes a
particular piece of work unique?
