Christian will speak about peer-economics, non-monetary business incentives and emerging open business models. He will present numerous business models ranging from distributed peer investment in music, film and the arts to p2p finance services and innovative organizational models following the Open Source paradigm. His arguments and ideas are rooted in a two year international project documenting open business trends financed by Open Society Institute, Ford Foundation and the Arts Council UK.

Biography: 

Christian is the director of OpenBusiness.cc; a platform for exploration of innovative, free and open business strategies emerging on the internet. His non-profit activities include being a fellow of the Young Foundation and being the public project lead for Creative Commons UK. He consults and works with organisations such as Channel4, Royal Society of Arts, BBC, Arts Council England and the Open Society Institute. Previously he worked at Oxford University and was part of the initial management team of eCourier.co.uk; one of the fastest growing internet start ups in the UK.
