WHEN THE LONG TAIL SWINGS TOWARDS POLITICS
Democracy sounds like a dubious word in post-modernist sarcasm. As much as we have seen disbelief in current scenarios, alongside it is clear that a transformation potential emerges along with many participatory reactions. It is far from being a counter-revolution – though many enthusiast point out as such – but we might risk saying it forms a fertile ground for collective manifestations.

Manifestos.
Drawing over contemporary participatory politics, Nako explores some alternatives of deliberation platforms enabled by digital media, focusing on the study case of Gabeira.com, the website of the Brazilian Green Party founder Fernando Gabeira. The website is pioneer in the country’s political scenario, expanding the possibilities of interactive politics every day since its launch in 1994. Nako has been collaborating with Gabeira.com as communication consultant and art director since 2000.
