Biography: 

Giles Lane is co-director and founder of Proboscis, a non-profit creative studio based in London. He leads Proboscis' research programme, SoMa (Social Matrices), as well as directing projects such as 'Urban Tapestries'; 'Mapping Perception'; 'Private Reveries, Public Spaces'; 'DIFFUSION eBooks' and others. Giles is a Visiting Research Associate in Media & Communications at the London School of
Economics (since 2001) and was a Research Fellow at the Royal College of Art, London (1998-2002).
