In 2003, Jamais co-founded worldchanging, the award-winning website dedicated to finding and calling attention to models, tools and ideas for building a "bright green" world. His articles at WorldChanging covered topics including energy and the environment, global development, open source technologies, and catalysts for social change. In March, 2006, he started OpenTheFuture.com as his online home, focusing his attention on tools for building a better future.
Biography:
Jamais Cascio speaks about future scenarios around the world, and his essays about technology and society have appeared in a variety of print and online publications. He works frequently with the Institute for the Future, serves as the Global Futures Strategist for the non-profit Center for Responsible Nanotechnology, and was a founding Fellow for the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies.
