To Become Rich is Glorious - Heikki Aho

I got the idea during my two trips to Shanghai when I saw the overwhelming amount of material. Between the visits the city had changed, old buildings were being torn down and replaced with skyscrapers. China builds hundreds of thousands of factories, high- rise apartments and office buildings. Steel consumption has climbed to such levels not seen in any other country, taking almost one third of the worlds total. These photographs are meant to show how Shanghai looks today.
